Good News on Coffee from Oprah’s Dr. Oz

Just thought I’d slip this quick thought in today. According to Oprah’s famous Dr. Oz, studies have shown, especially for men, that a reasonable amount of coffee can actually reduce liver cancer and to be effective with, or with symptoms of Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases. Awesome! He suggests 24 ounces a day to be a ‘rational’ amount to serve up to yourself. Be careful of those side-effects. Migraines, nervousness, and heart palpitations. Certainly ‘good news’ for us coffee fanatics!

  1. A lot of instant coffee manufacturers are using this “coffee is healthy” bit to advertise their stuff. I just tell my family and friends that it’s better to stick to freshly ground and brewed coffee since they can be sure that coffee is all that they’re drinking. Plus, it’ll taste better too.
